What is this program?
This program makes it SIMPLE to update your HLDS and Mods! You just fill in some details, and hit update. Way easier than the command line one that comes with steam.

December 1, 2003:
I FOUND THE PROBLEM!!! THIS *IS* THE WORKING FIX!!!

If you have already downloaded the program, and cant get it to run, go into the dir that the EXE is in, and create a BLANK TEXT FILE named "settings.ini" and your problem is FIXED.

If you havent, i have included this file in the download below.

NOTE:
This is not a *fix* or update for the update tool, its just an easier way of using it.

Installing:
Extract all of the zip files anywhere on your PC, for best results extract to the same folder as 'HLDSUpdateTool.exe' (usually C:\HLServer)

Then just run the EXE provided!

it seems tobe a zip file guys, extract it to any folder (make sure you have hldsupdatetool.exe in that same folder) then run EasyHLDSUpdate.exe, quite simple

depending on what mod u want, pick from here,

getsteamnow.php

that file is included with the mod

Sorry guys, didn't mean for this to be so confusing! Maybe the next version will scan your computer and give you all possible locations to choose from or something, hows that sound? =D
