Steam denied my credit card purchase, but my bank says that my card was charged.

Depending on the policies of your credit card company, even though the purchase attempt was declined it's possible that a temporary transaction may show up on your account. This temporary transaction will NOT result in funds actually being charged to you, and it will be removed from your account by your credit card company within a few days. Rest assured that that your credit card will not be charged for a denied purchase attempt.
